This week's challenge is to build a tower using only plastic cups and foam, that is at least 12 inches tall and will support the weight of a teddy bear for 30 seconds! This is a group challenge. If groups are successful, their next step is to see how tall they can make their tower and still support the teddy bear. See the intro videos and some of the successful tower pictures below!
The K/1 and 4/5 classrooms collaborated to use the design thinking process as they designed inventions that would improve or help someone at school or home. After their inventions were complete, the classes wrote sales pitches and pitched their invention to a panel of judges, Shark-Tank style! See some of the awesome inventions below!
This week's challenge is to construct a completed electrical circuit using copper tape, a coin cell battery and an LED light. Then, create something that will light up with your completed circuit. Watch the intro video below and see some of the finished product pictures!
